Some much on my mind, I can't sleep

First I would like to designate this section of this blog posts to tattoos. (Well maybe I shouldn't say designate, that is not the right word... I like authorized better.) I dislike tattoos with a passion, not because they are ugly(which they are), not because they cost a butt load of money(because they do), not because I am not allowed to get one(but who in their right mind would want one any way), not because they will look AWESOME in thirty years-sarcasm-(which they won't when you are all saggy), BUT because they defile the most precious thing we have on this earth. The only thing that is really ours to make bad chooses in,(and getting a tattoo is a bad choose) live, and have free agency in and you and go damage it. Something that is already priceless and beautiful ruined. Don't you know that your body is a temple of the Lord that is quite frankly out on lone right now to you. Would you ask to borrow a book for someone you respect and love, then go and tell your kids its a coloring book? NO, why is OK to ask to borrow a body and then get "pretty colors and cool designs" all over it?
And before you get offended I would have you know that if you are one of my close friends and you have a tattoo, I still love you and don't hate you because you have a tattoo. I just wish you wouldn't have gotten one, it makes me sad more than angry to see you do something like this to your body.
OK! Enough with my ranting....
Tonight while I was on a date, my date stated something "life is good" and it kinda brought this whole wave of emotion, lately I have been putting my self down and secluding myself from situation because of financial reasons and the silliest, stupid things make me upset . But "life is good" I have a home, family, good friends and the gospel. Life can't get much better than this. Why am I complaining, I have so many things to be thankful for(BTW HAPPY THANKSGIVING) and even if the world was coming to and end, i still have plenty of things to be thankful for. Some times we lose sight of things that actually matter, and one thing that I learned last Sunday is ingratitude is one of the best sins that LDS people today make. I guess it's because we have so much all of the time, we never even think of a life without it. And because it's that time of year one of my favorite songs pops into me mind "Because I have been given much I too must give, Because of thy great bounty each day I live, I shall divide my gifts from thee with every brother that  I see, who has the need of help from me?...  My goal for this week is to give to those in need.
I read something tonight that inspired me and I would like to close with it
“If ever there is a tomorrow when we’re not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart, I’ll always be with you.”

Today...

Today I listened to some Raffi songs that we use to listen to on the way to Grandma's house. And it made me cry, I miss having innocence, I miss Grandma, I miss being care free, I miss Utah, I miss rolling down hills, I miss playing in the rain, I miss bum hills, I miss Rick(and he hasn't even left yet), I miss Primary, I miss Gymboree, I miss raisins, I miss the time when I didn't have to pay attention in sacrament (just kidding), I miss flying kites, I miss building forts out of chairs and sheets, I miss The Friend, I miss animal crackers, I miss kiddie pools , I miss Pokemon, I miss being able to get into place for free, I miss getting an award for using the potty, I miss free food, I miss the kids menu, I miss not having responsibility, I miss when school use to be easy, I miss happy meals, I miss Legos, I miss Barbies, I miss fudge sickles, I miss lemon drops, I miss parades, and the list can go on forever.
But I am also grateful the blessing to grow and learn. Because honestly it would stink to not learn from your mistakes, and to never be able to go on rollercoasters because your too short, or never go on a date, or never drive.

What do you wnat to be when you grow up?

Yesterday  I was spent time with the coolest girl ever, Talana, (check out her blog here!) and I asked her what she wanted to be when she grows up.  And you know what she said? A mother! And you know what I  think a lot.... maybe too much sometimes. This got me thinking,  a mother, oh how I can't wait for motherhood *yes I am waiting, no pregnant teenager here*. It is a whole new world that I am itching to explore. I know it will be exhausting and hard, but  I look forward to the challenge. Mothers have an awesome 6th since that no one else has, the ability to listen, and hear, and love, and care, and learn, and teach, and the list goes on and on.
Another thing that Talana said to me was, "you will be a good  mom". Not only did this come to me as a big complement I was kinda surprised. Because I have heard this once before from my aunt Jill. But the first time you here something it doesn't always set in. "You will be a great mom", this is  a great complement since that is what I want to be when i grow up!

Things like occupations always worry me. First of all, everyone I know always has at least 1,2 or 3 things they have in mind to do when they grow up. I NEVER  have any idea what i want to do. Until just recently, I either want to be a psychologist, school guidance counselor, or  occupational therapists. I want to help others and love listening to peoples problems. I want to help those I love, and that is everyone!
I can either work with crazies, or crazy-crazies. I talked to Sister Skipper last Wednesday about psychology because that is what she is studying right now. And my eyes are open, it sounds like a job for me. But who knows!

One quote that I live by is "I may or may not be indecisive I have not decided yet". All I know for sure is that I want to be a mom. But who knows about the other stuff....... But for know this is who I am, and who i am going to be.

Thank you Jill,Thank you Talana!

"Alright, alright, alright, alright, alright, hey!"

Definitions of EFY:
Especially For Youth (often abbreviated as EFY) is a week long youth-oriented seminar focused on fellowship and teaching the principles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). ...
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EFY
AKA thhe best week for your life.

This year WOULD be my 3 year at EFY but sadly i am not going....  This year would be the year I get to be in a company with mature boys(and girls). But instead of wallowing in self pity I will just reminisce and think of how much fun I had in years before, beside thinking of how much fun I am going to miss.

This years theme is drum roll please: Courage to Stand Strong.
Every year they have a theme and every thing you do through out the week is based on that theme. There are dances, games, FHE, devotionals, service projects, classes, workshops, talent show and best of all testimony meeting!!One of my favorite pass times at EFY is staring at really hot Mormon boys.... JUST KIDDING! No really one of my favorite pass times is playing games down in the lodge! Ninja, Kuncha, Big buddy and SOOO much more. MY favorite quote is "If you can't have fun with out drinking a beer, you obviously have never hung out with the Mormons" and boy do we know how to have F. U. N. !!!!!!!!

Just a couple weeks ago I was on Facebook and i posted on my status how said I was that I was not going and then something AMAZING happened. My aunt messaged me and said we would gladly pay for both you and Hannah to go to EFY, did i mention how amazing this was. Sadly it didn't work out this year, but I am ok with it and I know I am going next year. I have grown to have an marvelous testimony of family and why we were put on this earth with them. To learn and to grow and to HELP and most of all to love! Families are so awesome!

In conclusion EFY is THE BOMB DIG-ITY!!!

CITY OF OWLS:)

:) That is righty! I love Owl City! :)
I went to his  concert in February! It was amazing, and I really enjoyed it! I went with Val and Zack.... Probably the best people to go to a concert with because Val gets you front row seats no matter how late you are going to be(lol) and Zack just knows how to party!(you can see Zacks blog HERE). Well as you can see at the bottom of my blog page I have posted a play-list. This specific play-list is dedicated to summer!! The first song just happens to be by Owl City!!! Its called Sunburn, check it out!
My favorite song by Owl City.... Well I would have to say is a neck- to neck tie between Dental Care and The Bird and the Worm. Dental Care is just fun  and silly, just like me... that is probably why I like it. And the Bird and the Worm pretty much sum up my life(or at least an imaginary one that I wish I had). Not that I am unhappy with my life at all in fact life can't get much better than this! But if I where to dream up some magical land to live in, in my dreams it would be the one in The Bird and the Worm.
A little bit of information about Owl City. Owl City is Adam Young i mean he is entirely Owl City, there are like band members for live concerts but its just him.He is a clever little man and is not afraid to be himself. When I saw him in concert he danced crazily! Probably another reason why I like him so much! Because I am "little shawty’s fire burning on the dance floor"! lol
WHHOOOT WHHOOT for now:)

Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah BATMAN!!!

Batman is my hero, haha. I mean just look at him. Everyone says oh spider man is so legit. My opinion is that spider man is a girl!  I mean ya he can spin webs, but so can a black widow! He can fly, not really he just swings in the new york city with his spider web. All i am saying is that if Spider man and Batman where to get into a fight we all know how would win. Batman has scientific knowledge, detective skills, athletic prowess and the looks:) Besides spider man doesn't even have a trusty side-kick. Just look at him(see picture above) you can't tell me that he doesn't look fulgurant! Now proceed to look at the picture below, who would win in a battle to the death. I think my point is obvious:)
